SERVE THE LORD JOYFULLY!
Below you will find a list of the various Ministries of our congregation and descriptions of what they do with the body of Christ at Faith Church. All members are invited to be part of one or more of these ministries. Contact the church office for information on how to join others who are serving joyfully in the work of the Lord!
Discipleship
We are guided by Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT): Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you, and be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
The Discipleship Ministry provides opportunities and activities for members and guests alike to nurture their souls. We are responsible for the following:
ADULT BIBLE STUDIES - Adult Sunday School occurs Sundays at 9:15 AM. Wednesday morning Bible Study is held at 10:30 AM. Throughout the year, dedicated Bible studies and small groups meet. This is where we grow together in our knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. All are welcome to attend as we all have room to grow as Christians.

NEW MEMBER CLASSES – New Member classes explain the joy and responsibilities of being a member of God’s family and the Presbyterian church, including our form of government and the role of members in the life of the church. Potential members will learn about the Essentials of Our Faith as set forth by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, of which we are a member. We continually seek to provide opportunities and encourage new members to become active members of our church family.

As you become involved, look for ways to enhance your experience at Faith.
Youth Christian Growth
The Youth Christian Growth (YCG) Ministry is responsible for the Christian education and fellowship of children from age 3 through High School. The following activities are coordinated by YCG:
SUNDAY SCHOOL - Children meet during Sunday Worship in Fellowship Hall to explore the Bible with videos, activities and crafts. We seek to encourage our youth to learn and understand the Word of God.
|
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - During the summer, Faith Church sponsors a week long VBS program designed to enhance Christian education through worship, activities, and fellowship.

Join us in the Christian education of our youth and future leaders.
Deacons
Our guiding principles are found in Acts 20:28 (ESV): Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all your flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”
The Board of Deacons consists of elected members who serve for a period of two years. Each deacon has a flock assigned to him/her. The Deacon's responsibility is to maintain contact and communication with members of the church and regular attendees by informing them of special events, greeting them at worship and other activities. Deacons also serve as liaison between parishioners, the Pastor, and keep him informed of any special circumstances or difficulties that may arise. The Deacons visit and minister the sick and shut-ins, providing comfort and care for those who are bereaved.
Fellowship
We are guided by Acts 2:42; 44 (NLT): 42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper[a]), and to prayer. 44 And all the believers together in one place and shared everything they had.
The Fellowship Ministry coordinates various activities that promote friendships among the congregation. Some of our activities include:

Mission/Outreach
We are guided by Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT): 18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, [a]baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
The primary goal of this ministry is to reach people both near and far with the good news of Jesus Christ. Faith Church utilizes the Outreach ministry to attract visitors and new members, and through Missions, we encourage our members to pray for and act to assist those in need. Faith Church provides support to several missions each year in the form of prayer, actions, and financial aid. Some of our recent missions are listed below.

Worship
We are guided by Psalm 86:9 (NLT): All the nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your holy name.
The Worship Ministry is responsible in part for the Worship services at Faith Presbyterian Church. We seek to honor God through prayer, meditation, reading and hearing scripture, reinforced by a sermon that is obedient to the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal of worship is to bring us closer to God and to each other as we strive to become good and caring Christians. Responsibilities of the Worship ministry include:
